Incentives
The Economic Development Council of Collier County has worked to develop a responsible economic incentive program that encourages new high-wage employment and new capital investment in the area. Through a combination of local and state incentives, the Economic Development Council of Collier County can form an incentive program that will appeal to businesses, and create high-wage jobs in Collier County. State
The EDC, in partnership with Enterprise Florida, Inc., provides a variety of state and local incentives to meet the needs of business. Target Industry Incentives Qualified Targeted Industry Tax Refund (QTI) QTI provides for tax refunds of up to $3,000 per new job created  through the expansion of an existing qualified business or the location of a new qualified business. The incentive is increased to $6,000 per job if the company locates in an Enterprise Zone.

Local
The Collier County Economic Stimulus Program was established by the Collier County Board of Commissioners in 2003 to support the overall economic diversification goals of Collier County and induce new, high wage job creation throughout the community.  The program is designed to support both the expansion of existing industry, as well as the recruitment of new industry to Collier County.

Federal
Hubzone Program:The HUBZone Empowerment Contracting Program is a program of the U.S. Small Business Administration and provides federal contracting opportunites for qualified small businesses in destressed areas. Currently, Collier County has four census tracts which are designated as HUBZones: 112.04, 112.05, 113 and 114. All four tracts are within the Immokalee Enterprise Zone.   Federal Grants: The federal government primarily provides grants for research and development.
